Christmas Carol Service
We are delighted to have been invited back at our home base of St John's Church in Sharow to take part in the St John's annual carol service.
Join us for an evening of beautiful music, traditional carols, inspiring readings, and festive fellowship as we retell the timeless story of Christ's birth. Whether you are a regular churchgoer or not, you will find a warm welcome awaiting you.
Come and sing some of your favourite Christmas carols, listen to uplifting choral music, and take a moment away from the business of the season to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
Bring your family, friends, and neighbours, and share in this cherished celebration of hope, peace, and goodwill.
We look forward to welcoming you this Christmas.

Thinking of joining us?
The members of the choir lead busy lives so we do not rehearse regularly each week. We learn the music in advance, and then come together for five rehearsals before each concert. Rehearsals are usually held on Tuesdays at St John’s Church, Sharow, near Ripon.
We have a friendly conductor, Shaun Turnbull, and we enjoy working together. The choir welcomes applications from singers of all voices, but we have to maintain balance between the parts and sometimes there is a waiting list. If you are a competent sight-singer, able to prepare music in advance and free on Tuesday evenings, please contact us.
